around 80-100 US$ depending on whether they rip you off or not. Smoking is not really allowed or disallowed but a non - smoking taxi driver is unlikely to like it very much. Some may allow you to smoke if you open the window. Easier just to ask him to stop for 2 minutes so you can get out and have a puff. It's only an hour long trip anyway.

I have a better idea, go where the taxi drivers make turns at the airport and ask. Who of you guys smoke?
Of course with the windows rolled down so that the smell don't stick that much in his car.... Other custumers don't like that Sh**t.

I think the rate should be a bit less then 80 USD. The taxi posted rate from Bayahibe to Juan Dolio is 70 USD each way and La Romana airport is a bit closer, so my guess would be 60 USD, but no more then 70 USD.
