I'm looking for computer parts, so far, I've been to Prodacom, and this other place, I forgot the name, I'm looking for PCI Sata cards, does anyone know any other places I can visit?

Cecomsa is very good. It is on the street that Hache is on heading up towards the mountain on your left.

For a specialized part like that you are going to need to order from the US. With Amazon + EPS this is relatively painless. You will save money and get a better quality card.
Most PC's being sold in the DR are still P4 and equivelant, even most computer pros here think RAID is bugspray and SATA is a feature in less than a quarter of the PC's in use. (I guessed that last one)

Went to Cecomsa, and they had what I needed, down to the exact chipset, now I need to know where I can find parts like resistors, transistors, those kinds of things.
With Radio Shack's prices here in the D.R., perhaps cheaper to import what you need!
I doubt the Radio Shack in the D.R. has such things as resistors, transistors.
They are very limited in what they carry.
Another Electronic store would be better, perhaps "Santiago Electronics" on Ave. Bartolome, or perhaps ask them, or ask a repair shop where they get their parts.

The guy who owns it is some kind of preacher and on his website he has an add that says Plaza Master.
Go to electronica monumento on las carreras near cuba street (not sure exactly what corner) but its a huge electrinic store with all kinds of electronic components, down to even used parts. In any case, walk into any store that says electronica and they should have all you need at good prices.

I went there, did not have any components, I did find this place, called Repuestos Teofila, they had everything I needed.
