Is There a Driving School in Santiago

Trying to find out if there is a good driving school in Santiago. One that supplies the car WITH insurance. My girlfriend has never driven a car and being that I never purchased one here, I can't teach her. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Baseball stadium off of Feb.27. That is where you take the driving test, and there are schools there also.

Thank you for the info. Going there tomorrow with my girlfriend so SHE WILL LEAVE ME ALONE. lol

I've never seen any evidence of anyone having taken a driving course in the DR. Just have her wing it like the everyone else did!

That is for the whole course. In Puerta Plata they charge about 4,000 rd, and another 1,500 or 2,000 if you can't pass the test. This will insure that you do.

Hey, waytogo I'll recommend you try to find "Escuela de choferes Hermanos Rodriguez" I know those guys very well, they are reliable and responsible guys. last time I went to DR they were located in the parking lot around Cibao Baseball stadium and Palcio de los deportes.
