Camerastore in santo domingo

Hey all. this is a new forum for me so bear with me.
i have recently been liberated of my camera from some nice gentlemen in a carito and im looking for a new one. are there anyone who knows about a decent store in santo domingo for picking up one. i have my eyes set on a panasonic lumix but im open for anything. if there is any store which has a decent selection of quality cameraes i would be ever so gratefull for any help.

Have you considered ordering it from a supplier in US and having it shipped here, assuming you know of no one who can bring it to you from the US?

Amazon has a big selection at discounted prices.

Ken is right, if you can, order it online or get someone to bring it to you. Last year I had to buy a camera in Santo Domingo. I went to Plaza Lama and bought one for an outrageous $350.00, but I needed it. Got home and the same camera was available from Staples, not on sale. for $149.00.
