My husband got the call to redo medicals and bring in the police check but
is it true that you have to get the police check done in santo domingo at the procuraduria general instead of the local puerto plata office where i got it done in the first place. Also can medical redos be still done with dr. meja in puerto plata??

Yes, it all has to be done in Santo Domingo now, at the places the embassy has designated, the rules changed recently.

Hi Raquel,

Unfortunately, emj_08 is right. We can all forget about Dr. Mejia Lopez. :( My husband's medicals will expire in Jan. Don't I wish they could be redone in POP...
