There are good places in the Las Galeras area. You can snorkel from various beaches, like Playa Playita, Playa Madama and Playa Fronton. There are also many caves in the area to snorkel.
Local dive schools offer snorkel trips, guides will be available as well but you can also do it alone.
Many places rent snorkel gear for around 15 US$.
