Unsure about some driving times

I don't know how long it will take to get to the farthest places I am going to during my next trip. I plan to drive from Cabeza de Toro beach in Punta Cana to Cuerva de las Marvillas. I also plan to go to Sabana de la Mar to take the tour of Los Haitises national park.

Punta Cana to Cueva de las Maravillas - an hour and a half, mainly on good roads.

PC to Sabana de la Mar could take about 3 hrs, because of the poor state of the roads. There are two routes, one via Miches, and one via Higuey and El Seibo. The latter is longer as the crow flies but the road, although in a terrible state, is marginally better than the Miches route.

What if you take the road through Higuey, El Seibo and Hato Mayor and then go north to Sabana de la Mar?

I'm very interested in hearing about the El Seibo to Hato Mayor on to Sabana de la Mar as well. I'll be coming from La Romana. Does anyone know how the road is from La Romana to El Seibo?
