I am visiting Cabarete this winter and while there I plan on going to Santo Domingo for a few days to visit the Colonial Zone. I know I have to go to Sosua to get a bus either Caribe or Metro ....the question is where would the bus station be in Santo Domingo? Would it be near the Colonial zone? If not, how much would a taxi be approx.
It has been recommend to me that the place to stay is Hotel Palacio. Any other suggestion would be appreciated. We are two seniors,
