I and my wife are in the process to buy an apartment at Iberostate in Punta Cana (within the next 2-3 weeks). We will pay it in cash.
We intend to use the apartment for our self for 3-4 weeks a year and rent it out the remaining year.
We intend to use it as our ?Winter house? once we have been retired. We are both around 40 years old which means that we still have some years to our retirements. We are living in Europe.
We will use the Iberostate property management to maintain our property and the Iberostate rental management to administrate the rental.
Our question is now, since we have read a lot about forming a Dominican Republic company, makes it sense for us to form a company in Dominican Republic? What are the advantages? Is it complicated? Are there a lot of paper job /administrative tasks to maintain the company? How much does it cost?
