Trying to figure out the best configuration of airport(s) and towns to visit. Flying from the NYC area (Newark/LaGuardia/JFK), hoping to visit Cabarete, Cabrera, Las Terrenas and Santiago over 10 days.
(Los Haitises, El Limon Waterfalls or 27 Charcos, other suggestions?)
My kids are 21, 19 and 16....

Either fly into Santiago to start and head north then east and fly out of the airport near Samana, or Fly into the airport near Samana and head west then to Santiago to fly home. Sorry I do not remember the name of the new airport near Samana.

Go to STI (Santiago). See what you want to see here. Then you can take a bus out to Las Terrenas, and work your way by Cabrera, Cabarete and then back to Santiago for return trip. Certainly doable with those young guys to haul the luggage..
