zoo in santiago?
There is a free one in the Gurabo area. Go away from town on the Carr. Turistica and when you get to the 3rd or 4th traffic light there is a gas station on the right stop and ask for directions. It is less than a mile from there and not as far as Camp David. It doesn't have a whole lot to see but the kids will enjoy it and they have cheap concessions.

they have a lion and lioness, tons of birds and some monkeys.
it's not bad for a free zoo. oh, and tons of ostriches.
if you're in conchos, the CJ27 goes there, but you have to tell the driver that's the destination when you get in. most don't go that far if they don't have to.
