We just flew AA from JFK to SDQ last Sunday, with one extra bag coming down. Skycap weighed the 3 bags, asked for $30, and went off to the curbside check-in. He came back a few minutes later, smiled and handed me back the $30. I gave him a $10 tip and we went on our way.
