Does the DR use credit bureaus to check Dominican residents credit when applying for credit? I know that they run something against the persons cedula? What agency(ies) do they use to check Dominican's credit history? What agencies could a Dominican resident use to "clean up" their bad credit history.

The three "credit bureaus" we use here in the DR to check the credit histories of our clients are CICLA, Data Credito and Transunion.
