After about 5-6 years of absence, i've finally made time to get back to Santo Domingo. I know clubs and bars come and go. Whats the best place for some nightlife? next week.....

Santo Domingo Nightlife...
Try the malecon area at night. There are plenty of restaurants in the area specially steakhouses. Also, the view is excellent right by the water. There are also numerous casinos and clubs in the area.
Av. Venezuela. Lots of clubs there. But it really depends on the type of atmosphere you are looking for. Tell us more.
All depends on what category you put yourself?

Av. Venezuela = Chopo.
Av. Lincoln/Churchill = Jevitos, plastico, como mierdas etc
Malecon = Chopo, cueros, tourists.
Look at sites like uepa.com or 809k.com
Also, i forgot to mention the Colonial Zone. There you find bars and restaurants, lots of chics and also there is a Hard Rock Cafe there.
