Flying from santiago to united states

Hello,

I live in Santiago not too far from the Airport, I have a letter that needs to be mailed to the United States but it costs too much to mail it from Dominican Republic.

I was wondering if anybody will be flying from Santiago to United States this month (July 2012) and is willing to take my letter with him or her and mail from the States.

I will be sealing the mail in front of you.

you can go to EPS office and send a letter for under 100 pesos, takes a week or two.

EPS is not the post office.That would be INPOSDOM. EPS is a private business/mail service for sending and receiving packages/mail. Huge difference.

Great, Thank you- Where can I find that EPS Office in Santiago? A street name, phone number.

You are the best - Thank you again. The problem is I just called them and they told me that 1 page will cost me 1863 pesos. This is way too much............................Do you know anything cheaper?

They can send your letter as either a trackable package or as a regular mail, so ask for the latter option, it's around 100 pesos and they'll give you a large envelope for free. I use it all the time at their Sabana Larga office.
