Anyone know if Cable TV is available in Sosua/Cabarete. If so, are you able to receive major US Neyworks (CBS< NBC< FOX<ABC) and HBO etc. And is it available in English, not subtitled?

If it is available, what can I expect for installation cost, time etc?

Thanks

Tom

Re: Cable TV & Re: PUBLIC INET KIOSKS

There are several Internet Cafes in Santo Domingo -- at Plaza Andalucia (Calle Gustavo Mejia Ricart), or Plaza Universitaria (Av. Sarasota). In Puerto Plata, understand there is one at the Playa Dorada mall.

Note you can also buy time at the Codetel and Tricom telecommunications centers located all throughout the country.
