Maria estaba moi guapa despues de la competecion del belleza porque Rosalia es mas guapa.

Nice attempt, but no comparison, IMO. Guapa is the adjective in both cases(and yes it can be used as a noun for a person possessing the quality). It has alternate meanings as you deftly illustrate, but in many of the examples supplied above, the same spellings apply to completely different pronunciations and work as verbs/adjectives/nouns. English is far more confusing. Spanish is elegantly logical.
