Putting exit fees in search finds you very little of interest. Not sure what more you could put to get a clearer result but maybe its easier just to either make it a sticky, or just let people ask again...no skin off my nose
Agreee 100 %. I found that it is easier if you go to google and type: dr1.com and then the things you look for...
Just flew out pf the DR last week got to immigration desk in Santo Domingo knew i had to pay 4000 pesos the guy at the desk told me go over put 2000 in my passport and come back checked my passport again gave me a already stamped paper that his partner then collected from me as i walked through the second check hehehe Id rather see them get the $$ anyway cause if it goes to government its just helps the rich get richer also re entered yesterday no problem .
Yes. A question within this question. I should know the answer to this question...Are there any other EXIT FEES...besides the $800Rd I will pay. After enough times in and out I will remember the answer....Dont want 9th hour surprises at SDQ....
just a quick update on my latest experiences at the airport...
Flew out to NY 2 weeks ago. Was 2 months over and asked to pay $800.
I handed over the money and then asked for a receipt. The guy said he couldnt give me one and then handed me back my money and told me to go on through without paying.
Most bizarre.
