Santa Barbara de Samana (Samana City).......looks like the pic might have been taken from the Chinese restaurant/hotel on the hill........and by the way, best food deal in town, good food and BIG portion size..... and cheap, too............

Excellent panorama.

I'm surprised how few boats there are in the harbor. Are cruising sailors still stopping there before crossing the Mona?

The boat all the way to the left with a blue sail cover is the Janice Ann. Me and two guys--including the Captain, Jeff--sailed it to Charleston, South Carolina. I projectile vomited the whole way to Charleston and lost 15lbs in 12 days. Perfect diet trip.
