For the flower lovers!

Well, since im not getting anywhere with the dominican chicas i decided on starting a fresh relationship with flowers. I don't know much about flowers and their complex biological names; im purposed on learning alot and being faithful to the relationship. To kick off just minutes ago i stopped by the plant store along the Av. Sarasota (Bella Vista) opposite the Pola Supermarcado and got 2house plants, the vendors didn't tell me their names so i'd have to find out myself

Are there any other good flower shops within Santo Domingo area?

Useful flower tips are welcome.

Oh, that's so sweet.

I would recommend chocolate! (Even Hershey's classifies as the "good stuff", but the really good stuff will get you places.)

Seriously, chocolate! You can thank me later.

Well, yes I'm kidding about thanking me, but chocolate, no way, not kidding.

Go to the colmado and get some, and you'll see what I mean. Dominican made chocolate is just mostly sugar and gritty.

I've bought bags of Halloween candy for some kids (Reeces, Hershey's stuff) and watched as the mothers ate as much/more than their children. Then they commented that next time I didn't need to get the small kind with all those wrappers, just bigger bars!!

Now of course, I expect you to get better than Hershey's.

I guess I'll be seeing you over in Mars and Venus:)

Criss you probably referring to the cheap, give-me-money-first "flores"along the malecon avenue. Dominicanas are a complicated breed.

I got the name of the other house plant - Palo De Brasil

Best part, you can eat it later, and don't need to add any salt!

If you find my post between all of this.... On Winston Churchill Just north of Las Americas and south of San Isidor there is a nice little garden center. Heading north on WC it will be on your left hand side acoross the street from a Ceramic tile center. Name I never caught because I never have gotten the chance to enter but from the street it looks like they have some nice stuff.
