Getting from POP area to La Romana by bus

I am coming to DR in 3 weeks and will be in the Puerto Plata area for a few days. I have some friends who live in La Romana. I have never been there, however I am thinking of visiting for 2 days.

Is there any bus that would get me there without having to change? I can take Metro or Caribe Tours. Also how long of a ride is this? I am hearing about 7 hours or so?

I'd be willing to wake up early and get the first one out in the morning and get there early afternoon

Caribe tours in Charamicos to Santo Domingo, local taxi to Parque Enriquillo, express bus to La Romana.
It's going to be at least 6.5 hours or more if you make every connection, NO direct bus.
Most chicas are ok coming to you, unless you are hiding your Sosua tour!
