Have just heard that there are 5 patients currently in Cabrera's clinic being treated for Dengue. Two of these are confirmed. Another had just returned to the states and is being treated there. And yet another case here just last month (also Cabrera) of a friend's 15 year old who contracted it, was hospitalized, treated, and is recovering well.
Just thought I'd pass it along as most of the cases I've read about here have been around Santiago, Sosua and elsewhere, and it also seems like a lot of people now for our tiny town. (CDC recommends a spray with 30-35% DEET).
