I'm looking at condos in SD. Everywhere I look towers are being built and properties are for sale. Some towers look like the construction is stalled. I've looked a lot in Bella Vista.

1) how much are prices down? I'm guessing 15-20% over last few years.

Any thoughts on the future of SD real estate? I'm wondering if it might not crash.

i think that prices are up in the last few years.. at least they are in Gazcue

And I think that the place will boom in the next few years as people from NYC find the place.

I speak only of Gazcue.

There are other nice neighborhoods but i have not been following the real estate there

i think that you have to talk about neighborhoods here

not that the real estate industry is organized that way

but here, prices are steadily rising. apartments are selling. New rentals are appearing. older furnished rentals are staying vacant and will have to be upgraded or sold. That is what I have been seeing. The prices on the new condos which have been built are breathtaking.

such tiny spaces for such a lot of money

certainly a lot of builders believe in Gazcue lots of money being invested
