It's probably been posted previously. But where would be a nice place for dancing bachata and merengue on a Friday night in Santiago. Thanks in advance.

Try andy ranch on the highway going to Navarrete. Banda Real which is probably the best tipico band at the moment plays there every friday.

Quick question- does anyone know an affordable hotel in Santiago I can crash at? I keep seeing rates at 90 dollar or more I was looking for 50-60 dollar rate. (I will be entertaining in the room as well ) Thx

Spend the night at a cabana. There they are dozens.

Don't forget to tell him that a decent caba?a is cheaper than most hotels, and also way better. If I were a single guy coming to Santiago for a few days, I would pick a Caba?a over a hotel any day.
