Do any of you wise, witty people frequenting this forum live in Las Galeras or have considerable knowledge of life there?

I'm hoping to hang my hat there by year's end, and I have a lot of questions for someone with a lot of patience for this old man.

Gee, doesn't look promising for an on topic reply for you. Can't help you much,- have visited there frequently and love it but it's relatively tiny and quiet. Its also a bit isolated way out there on the tip.
Hopefully we can scare up a DR person who lives or has lived there.

Tiny and quiet—that's what attracts me. Not to mention the ocean.

Go to the Northeast Thread and post another message. Maybe some locals will respon. What is it specifically that you want to know. I don't live there but I know the area a little.
