Sadly, he was serious. It really was reported on TV like that. They aired a apology afterwards but insisted it all had been verified. The only thing worthy of the "Clown Bin" category is the quality of journalism.

Late to the party I guess.
Nobody is laughing at the airplane crashing and the loss of life.
People are laughing at the absurdity of the news anchor reading those names off her teleprompter.
