Hello,
My wife and I are retired Canadians. We discovered Sosua 2 years ago and have made the trip 4 times now.
We love the small town where you can walk to everything. We have made many new friends both in the expat community and through them residents of Sosua. We will be there next Jan-Mar and intend to rent later next year for at least 6 months. I find this forum to contain helpful and interesting information on life in the DR.

I thought Christopher Columbus (Crist?bal Col?n) discovered Sosua. Yuk, yuk. :) Welcome to the forum.

Note: Crist?bal Col?n (Christopher Columbus) is no relation to our own Criss Colon (CCCCCCCCCCC), at least I don't think so???
