I have noticed that here in the DR there are no essential oils for perfume .. and there are such wonderful flowers and .. The only oils that one can buy are for the room.. and only perfumes are from Europe

When Haiti has the bases of the best perfumes growing next door

the the DR has the frangapani.. and the jasmine.. and probably yling ylang.. and lots of other scents as well.. a business waiting to happen

I used to be able to buy this at the gift shop at the Hotel Melia.. but no more

then in the street market in Dajabon.. no more

most recently found,, over at the Ouanminthe side..

WHY? I can buy all the US whiskey? All the other gins? Why no competing rums?

What harm could it do to Brugal and Barcelo?
