Dominicans living in the state of Rhode Island (USA) organize a donation drive for the benefit of the children in Sos?a. With collections, raffles, sales of food and yes, even with a shoe shine, Dominicans living in the USA attend to help school children in Sos?a to provide them with school supplies. The Dominicans are united in the Club 'Juan Pablo Duarte', formerly resident of the province of Puerto Plata, who are committed to help the children in Sos?a with these fundraisers. These are school children from poor families and these families are not able to buy the necessary books, writing utensils and school uniforms.
