Does anyone know or have experience with this product:

GURU

I'm forced to change tiles on two bathrooms, and will make a wet room in both of them. One already had a wet room and once I noticed the water that would fall on the floor, would pass through the joints on the sand below the shower. I was recommended to apply Dominicans favorite product for filtration: Lanco inpermibilizante. I don't trust at allthat will do the job, so I'm considering to install this product below the tiles.

It's sold and installed by a local company.

Any comments?

If you're changing tiles, can you get flake board here better know as Gypsum Backing Board, used in the States, comes in 1/2 usually..I did 2 baths at my Wantagh house many Years ago, never had a water issue or tiles falling off etc..is also fire resistant..

Sounds as expensive as hell.

Not that expensive. 2440 per 5m2. I should have enough with 2x that fr both bathrooms. The to the laminate sealed 'desaguas' are a little but more expensive: 3750. All together it will be like 12,000 pesos.

If it works fine I might so the overhanging roofs as well.
