I am from South Carolina and I'm leaving Saturday morning to travel to D.R. For a week with my mother. She is 67. We are staying at the Iberostar Dominica. Any tips or valuable information for us will be greatly appreciated!!! I am very excited!

Welcome to DR1... my other half came with his mother was in her late 70s (he had been on his own before) and I came with him the following month... we bought a condo... just enjoy yourself. Go on some of the excursions like the Marinarium - swim the rays and nurse sharks. Another good excursion is Bavaro Runners' trip giving you a DR experience (the guides tell are good, full of info and you get to learn a bit more about the plants and wildlife etc) HAVE FUN!!!
