I read about this on DominicanToday but the organization mentioned, U.S. based Vea Jesus Foundation, seems to have no information on the Internet. I've also checked Tax-Exempt Organizations - Detailed Financial Reports, Statistics, Location - NonProfitFacts.com and cannot locate them. Does anyone know if the organization is real or is this a scam?

you know what really, really, pi**es me off here? 6 million dollars? b**ch, please. you can get a house in casa de campo for this. how much does it cost to build a basic, simple orphanage? cheap tiles, dominican style bathrooms, aluminium doors and windows, iron bars? not 6 million dollars! this is 252 million pesos! what the hell? are they building it in piantini?

We have a tenant from Indiana who told me it was supposed to be set up with "foster parents" having charge of 10 children each.

Guide Star says there are 3 Indiana based entities Via Jesus( not Vea Jesus)
The IRS lists 2271 in Indiana with the name Jesus...no exact matches.

Great thing if there work reaches the mark. Public beware as always.
