A Journey through Palestine?s West Bank
Saturday 2 pm at the Meeting Place we will have the rare opportunity to meet the Canadian playwright Arthur Milner who will in a pictorial essay take us on a journey through the West Bank. In June 2010 Jewish-Canadian playwright Arthur Milner visited the West Bank and East Jerusalem for the first time. He has returned several times including a five-week visit in October 2012 when his murder mystery play ?Facts? (translated into Arabic) toured the West Bank and Israel. He travelled by bus, car and foot; he spoke with hundreds of Palestinians in major cities and in refugee camps. Join Arthur as he presents, with pictures and commentary, his impressions of life under occupation.
Arthur Milner is a Canadian playwright and theatre director. Past president of the Canadian Association of Professional Theatres, Arthur has taught at the National Theatre School and conducted numerous workshops and won numerous awards. His plays have toured Canada, Europe and the Middle East.
