Shipping to the DR

So I scheduled an appointmant with Montero shipping to pick up a barrel on Long Island (exit 62). I called them back a few days later and they confirmed the appointment. I just got off the phone with them, The driver says that
I live to far and has refused to pick up the barrel. Can someone recommend a Shipping service, (looks like Montero is now quisqueya shipping). It would be great if they would pick up on LI. If I have to I can drive it in closer to the city. Has anyone used ALwida? I see mixed reviews of them on the web.

I use Awilda regularly and have zero complaints.

I have gone to them for packing, they came to our apartment for pickup and shipping...
everything is perfect..... use my name..Webster, Casa el Faro, Cabrera

Pricing seems fair..... for sure they go to Long Island... you can call but Spanish goes further than English.

just Google Awilda Shipping in Corona.

This is who my wife uses .
Looking at a bill . Looks like $ 120.00
Large box , Free cooking oil , bag rice.

She leaves flaps on top of box open , tapes them together .
Then adds a piece off cardboard on top.
Gets a lot more stuff in.

The guys that pick up the boxes are always polite .
