I am trying to find a medical supply location to buy catheters for a relative that will be visiting. Tried several pharmacies but no luck. Thanks in advance for any help

if it?s the ones that go inside Mr Wheezer, for urinary issues, they were readily available at pharmacies in POP quite recently.

have you tried a pharmacy nearby any hospital? in spanish catheter is cat?ter. and it should be easily available in any large pharmacy, really.

if you go into a pharmacy, you ask for a sonda. i should know. personal experience.

thanks for the help dv8, yes , they all seem to suggest only some type of cat?ter arterial not what im looking for

Easily available in any of the pharmacies at the major clinics in Santiago. I would suggest that you check the pharmacies at the big clinics
there in SFM..

for other hard to find medical items- does the DR have large supply houses that sell to pharmacies and do retail? Pharmacies must buy their stock somewhere

Yes, zoomzx, there are plenty of medical supply houses and their prices are not too bad.

Yes, ask for a sonda ...need to know what size - usually for man 16FR .... if you can find the medical supply store "Farmaconal" they sell them pretty cheap - Puerto Plata or SD
