According to Zoraima Cuello, Deputy Minister of the Presidency and spokeswoman for the 911 National Emergency system, the service receives at least 5,000 calls a day where no one speaks at the other end of the phone.
hmmmm...another inflated number! 5000 calls a day? That means they receive 3.42 calls per minute for EVERY minute of the day....where no one says a word.
We were joking that the reason there is no one on the line is because they wait so long to answer at 911, that the person is dead already!
