Hi everyone, for the next 24 of September, me and my girlfriend are planning on going to Samana for 4 days (thurs to Sun), there is some things I would like to know.

I went once to Cayo Levantado, we paid a boat and were dropped in the island, we took our own food, but I don't remember how much we paid for the ride, can anyone tell me the exact number?

I would like to go to Playa Limon, Playa Bonita, and Playa Rincon, thus these beaches have accessible parking spots?

This are the only thing the comes to mind at the moment, will update later.

Thank you.

There is parking on the sand, like a makeshift parking lot. Bathrooms are behind a tree/bush or set up with tarp type curtain for privacy, very primative. My info is for rincon and bonita. Its been 3 years since i last visited the area and the only changes i am aware of is the road to rincon is in much better shape.

Thank you.

There are couple of beaches accessible from Limon. The one I know as Playa Limon is a left turn on the road to Limon from Las Terrenas just past the open air natural swimming pool and hospital......paved up to deserted apartments on beach and you can park down the side. Empty beach normally and enough space for a couple of cars. I believe this is Playa Limon with a small island off shore. The other is by carrying on straight through the town instead of turning to Samana and is down a dirt road towards Playa Marron.

Playa Bonita only has a footpath next to beach. You have to park away in one or two parking areas. Best one is about 50 yds turn right after reaching the beach footpath entry point and turning when coming from Las Terrenas. Right next to Ramonas and Hotel Acaya.

As for Rincon, tarmac almost all the way to the beach. turn left or right and along sand tracks and find plenty of parking.

The best beach in Samana Peninsula is Playa La Valle. dirt road but no parking issues and decent beach restaurants....plus zip line on the way
