Think we need a little more information before passing judgement. Said minor might be a young lady of 17 and 3/4 years than when a shakedown attempt didn't work they went for the rape call in revenge. Now I could be entirely off-base, but surely there's more info out there.

Ten percent of 15-18 year olds get pregnant every year in the DR. I recall a paternity case against a Sosua bar owner about ten years back involving a 16 year old, but I don't think he was charged with statutory rape.

It's too easy for females to cry rape in DR. Have sex, don't pay her what she wants, 'oh, ok, that's rape then'. Bish bash bosh, bloke is hauled in and cleaned out. I know there is alot of abuse and rape out there, but there is also a large number that abuse the abizmal system. Saying that, men need to be more intelligent of where they are screwing.

Dominican women never lie so this is a great idea. No need for judges, trials or lawyers. Just shoot the a**hole.

I think the point is that this guy has not been found guilty of anything, just arrested. We do not have any facts so we shouldn't jump to any conclusions.

So why are the men jumping to the conclusion that the girl is lying?
I don't assume he is guilty or she is guilty.

Dulce is right - comments about the girl maybe being 17.5, etc., are out of line. It's like saying it's okay if he raped someone "almost legal'. And what if she was 20? 40? 60?

I suggest everyone wait to hear specifics, etc.

no one even knows if there was rape. accusation does mean the deed was done.
