changing dollars to local currency

Where can I exchange dollars for local currency not in a bank?

The banks in the malls have huge lines, and I am wondering

if there is any other way to get this done.

any agente de cambio which are to be found in many places. Or in ZC on the streets (negotiate a good rate).

On Independencia, at the corner of Jimenez Moy? (Churchill), across from the Lottery headquarters, are a LOT of Casa de Cambios. All together. You'll be in and out in a flash, at a better rate than the banks

There are two or three Casa de Cambios at the corner of Av. San Martin and Calle Maria Montez directly across the street from Ban Reservas.

Does your city have Guzman , exchange? they are next to western union in most places, not in bank. NEVER exchange in street
