Hello to all of you out there.
I recently spent a year, as a college student from Texas, working in the Dominican Republic on a construction project. In that time I completely fell in love with the Dominican Republic; and ever since I left, I have been thinking of ways to return on a long term basis.
I have always had an interest in becoming a doctor but never really gave it much thought until now. I know from being in the D.R. that there are a few pretty good medical schools.
I was just wondering if its possible for an American to attend one of these schools and then practice medicine in the Dominican Republic. I really dont have any interest practiciing medicine in the U.S.
Could someone make a decent living doing this, and would an American be accepted without problems.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
God Bless Ya'll, and as George Bush would say, "Don't mess with Texas"
Sincerely,
Randy
