man shot and injured after robbing a canadian woman

few days ago i heard about an attack on a foreign woman but there were no confirmed reports until now.

a canadian lady was robbed in puerto plata at a gunpoint by two men. one of them was later shot and injured by the police.

Too bad they didn't hit higher.
Now the robbery of tourists is what causes the bad reputation of the DR.
