Hello All - I'm happy to be on a site with such a breadth of knowledge. I don't live in the DR yet (hope to move in 2018) but am there often. As I start to get more and more serious about the move more questions have come up. Hopefully, this will be a place I can go to get some answers.

Welcome. If you are seriously considering the move start to look into applying for residency. Contact the nearest DR Consulate to get the requirements. Good luck and good travels.
