Friday March 17th is Saint Patrick's Day! Wonder if Little Frank or anyone can give us an idea of whether and how the day will be celebrated in Cabarate this year--- will there still be a parade, bagpipes, pretty Irish dancers and green beer? :D

The Tent, stage, and sound system is going up today. We'll have live music and American DJ's for entertainment. We'll have Corned beef & Cabbage, Shepard's Pie, and Rueben's for as long as 75lb's of Pastrami lasts. We'll also have our normal menu.

No Bagpipes, unless someone has a pair sitting around in their closet. No step dancers unless people get drunk and try giving River Dance a run for their money.

Party starts at 12-noon.

Cabarete
There will be Steak and Guinness Pies, Potato, Leek and Bacon Pies, Cottage Pies and Chicken Pies at Taberna el Conde in Sosua, (opposite Helados Bon). Nick, the owner is Irish and his restaurant has fast become one of the most popular in Sosua. He is Famous for his Friday Night Pie Night, and conveniently St. Paddies day falls on a Friday this year! By the way, if you like a good curry, his Monday Night Curry Night is awesome!

Don't tell everyone.  We can't get a table on Friday nights as it is.  Standing room only by the time I arrive!
