    Default Charter boat

    Hi fellow Dr1'ers,

Does anyone know if its possible to rent a charter boat to take supplies to Puerto Rico from DR ?

My friend wants to buy some power generators in DR to send to his family in PR since they will not have electricity for a while. Any help as far as cost and special requirements info is appreciated.

His family is from Ponce, so the ferry is not an option, thanks.

That is a long trip and usually very rough - Mona Passage.
Doubt you'll find anything. If you do, make sure you have enough fuel for a round trip passage.

The ferry goes from Santo Domingo port, Don Diego Terminal to San Juan and accommodates rolling cargo (goods on trailers/container chasses). The two freight operators are "Priority Ro-Ro" Henriquez y Asociados 809 688 8787 (http://www.mhenriquez.com.do) and Marine Express Dominicana 809 689 9903
