FISHING IN PUNTA CANA

If you enjoy fishing, I would suggest you stay at the Punta Cana Beach Resort. That hotel is adjacent to a marina and is also close to the Cabeza de Toro Yacht Club, from where most fishing boats are chartered, and which hosts a major international fishing tournament every year. At the hotel, ask for Manolo Despradel who is very knowledgeable about fishing in the area. Once you get there, your hotel will assist you with information and help you to book your trip.

Deep sea fishing was offered near our resort (Melia Tropical) at $50, very reasonable. However, we learned of the offer too late in our trip. The staff at the resort said fishing was good.
