Thanks for everyones help. I got a flight coming to Puerts Plata on Sun 2/16 to 2/20. Now where do I stay. Want to be on the beach and near the nightlife. Give me some suggestions. Anyone play B-Ball? Still trying to play.lol I will check back later tonight. Thanks again

well, in Sosua you can have a good room in apart-hotel for 35 USD per day, it has 2 bedrooms, small kitchen, refrigirator, air conditioned, pool, TV. So now you know.

I recommend Cabarete, it is better.

Then Victoria House probably not your choice. It would be at the high end of accommodation prices in this area.

Cabarete has more life, we have wind and kite surf centres here, it is a place for youth. Sosua is not so popular now. Cabarete is the best place on the North Coast.

well, there are so many diffrent hotels here, apart hotels, rooms for rent etc. All of them look alike, prices are like from 30 USD per room. When you arrive to the airport tell the taxi driver to take you to one of these places, taxi rate to Cabarete is 20 USD one way. CHeck these webs:
