Astronomic prices for Easter Week from US to DO

Today I bought a ticket for a friend of mine who'll come to visit DO for Easter Week, you won't believe me but Providence-P Plata and back on CO costs 1002 USD in Y class. Easter week is cool for carriers.

Thinking that NYC LON NYC is 525 USD rt makes me think that we are as far from NYC as Mars.

i agreed 100% with el Se?or Samana.

ALL airlines operate by markets and competition...no matter the type of aircraft.

AND we know DR is very Popular for Vacation and the Dominican People always like to flight aleast 2times X year.

Of course it is different, I wasn't talking about what you understood. It was just an example. Of course I know all about fare policies, marketing and other airline stuff. IT WAS JUST AN EXAMPLE!
