Please, someone help!! I'm in the process of getting my husband's dominican residence (and may I say, what a job that is....), anyways, I need to get his birth certificate translated, but supposedly I have to go to someone who will do a "traduccion judicial or juridica". I have no clue on where to find such a person and nobody I know can knows where to find one. If anyone would know I would really appreciate the information.

P.S. I also need to translate his college degrees so he may get a job at a University.

Well if you are in the DR, that makes it easier. There are lots of them. Usually they are located near the places that require them. Close to immigration, close to the US embassy etc. Look for the signs. At any rate, when I needed to do the same, I simply asked the people at immigration where to go and they gave me directions.
