Air Santo Domingo will fly this days with B722 on JFK - SDQ route after the B757-200 is for maintenance in Miami.

EX702 has took of with 2 hours delay from JFK with 111 passengers, the problem was the APU, get 1 hour delay more at SDQ a total of 3 hours delayed on this route (pax 116 from SDQ to JFK) (Today 30th January 2003 EX702 took off with 96 pax)
SDQ-SJU also delayed with 5 HOURS the same problem (APU)
the aircraft is grounded and EX get another B722 from TMA (N906PG --> grounded)
this was not the first problems of Air Santo Domingo 3 days after they start on this route they had another problem with the B757 after soem emergency things at SDQ get a delay of at least 11 hours took off 6 AM nex day, as normal next flight get another delay (EX702 9:15 AM)
As this result Air Santo Domingo first problems we hope not to see more of this shit happens, after this i have GOOD news.
Air Santo Domingo will fly more charters as currently have some SJU-PUJ and extra flights on SDQ-SJU (all B722) will it fly another route SDQ-PAP-PTP-SDQ in August (B722)
Air Santo Domingo will lease a B767 from TMA to fly in Decemeber on Santiago - JFK route
Aeromar Lineas Aereas Dominicanas are intend to re-open flights to San Juan soon as possible or in Nov/Dec 2003
