Welcome to the board. If you are a resident here in the DR, help the poor folks that are worried about bugs, the weather, the food, the schools, the "whatever" of our DR....They don't know jack about it but we all chip in and "learn 'em..."
Thanks Hillbilly and Zeus, I had forgotten what chichigua meant.
Last year I was camping on one of the mountains outside Bonao when a kite dropped down out of the clouds. One of my companions yelled out and pointed to the "chichigua". We had a bit of fun playing with it for a while. then we tied it to a tree (a lot of string was still attached to it) and it stayed floating in the sky until the winds crashed it to earth.
Now that I've seen it written down, I won't forget it again.
